MAcBook Pro i5 Promo a Communication Problem

Intel tried to squash the rumors that they themselves started. Rumors have surfaced thanks to their promo sent out to Retail Edge partners which showed a new Mac Book Pro revamped with the new i5 processor. The promo has been sent out to their partners and it was translated in several languages. However they have said that the whole thing was actually a misunderstanding with Intel's marketing agency. A new promo has been sent out to replace the MacBook Pro with a HP Envy 15.

Despite the denial, many observers think that Apple will promote the new MacBook Pro with the new processor as early as the January 27th event that has been scheduled to take place in San Francisco. Currently the MacBook employs Core 2 Duo, and it has little choice but to turn to the i5 or possibly the i7 architecture
