Google officially Debuts Nexus One Android Phone

G1 mobile was introduced by T mobile last year. It was the first handheld mobile to utilize the android operating system. Since the debut, everybody is anxious to see the next stage of android devices, particularly the Nexus One Google Phone.

On Jan. 5 Google officially announced the phone in California. The presentation showed the history of Android and included detailed information about the size of the Nexus One ("No thicker than a number 2 pencil, no heavier than a Swiss army knife.") its features (GPS accelerometer, light, and proximity sensor), and its hardware (1 GHz Snapdragon).

The Nexus One development team also showed us some insight info on upgrades from early G1 models. New weather and news widgets can be seen on the newer models, and heightened voice capabilities as well.
The cost of the new Nexus phone, unlocked, is $ 529,00 and the offer by T-home is $ 179,00 and will be coming to Verizon this spring. For full coverage visit Engadget.
